More than 20 years enthusiasm for UNIX. Started out with Linux. When systemd madness became an issue I switched over to FreeBSD   . At first being a complete operating system adhering to the UNIX philosophy catched my interest.

Shortly after switching my first server to FreeBSD I learned about all the great features FreeBSD has out of the box:

• Great stability and reliability
• Rolling OS without problems keeping it up to date
• Native ZFS on root
• PF firewall
• Jails

Ultimately this lead me to switch all of my systems to be running FreeBSD

• Firewalls
• Servers
• Laptops
• Raspberry PI’s
